Welcome to Skyrise School of Laveen

We are located off S 51st Avenue, about 10 miles southwest of Phoenix. We believe that every family should be able to afford high-quality child care. So, we’re here to help with whatever your family needs to enroll. Our team is set up to support you with things like local financial aid resources, evaluations of your child’s development, and free diapers, wipes, and meals at school. When you join us, you will become part of the trusted community we’ve been growing for over 50 years as part of the KinderCare family.

Upcoming Holiday Closures
We are closing at 2 p.m. Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) and all day on Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25). Our center will reopen on Friday, Dec. 26. We are also closing at 2pm New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 31) and all day on New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1). Our center will reopen on Friday, Jan. 2.
*Some centers must remain open due to state regulations and cannot close early. Your center director will let you know if this applies to your center.

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Our caring teachers make sure your baby feels safe, loved, and ready to explore. We’ll work closely with you to make it a smooth transition for your family.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Our toddler room is made for curious kids! We help them explore, try new things, and grow through play.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

We teach little ones how to play and learn together. With fun games, early math and science, and lots of pretend play, they’ll be ready for preschool.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

Your child will make art, try science experiments, and use their big imagination. We’ll help them get ready for kindergarten in fun, hands-on ways.

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

Pre-K builds skills for elementary school. Kids start to read, write, work with numbers, and grow their confidence in a safe, caring classroom.

Small Group Enrichment Classes

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

Kids learn to cook new recipes from around the world—and pick up real-life math, science, and teamwork skills along the way.

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

Through singing, dancing, and playing instruments, kids build music skills and grow in areas like math, literacy, and mindfulness.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

We build a love of reading while helping kids learn letters, sounds, and words. This helps them feel ready and excited for school.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

Kids explore science, tech, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on activities. They’ll create, test, and bring big ideas to life.

“ Last year, I came to the Center Director, in a panic! I had just moved here from Missouri and had already looked into KinderCare services and knew the tuition was more than I could afford. So, I had no other choice but to take my daughter where I could afford the fees. On several occasions, my daughter was bitten, hit, kicked, etc. On the day I met the center director, my daughter had been bitten on her eye! I refused to take her back there. The Center Director and the center staff saved my daughter from a negligent daycare that showed mild abuse. The center director worked out an affordable resolution so that my daughter could attend the Laveen center. Thank you so much!

“ Being part of the center family was the best decision I made during the pandemic. So many of those fears were assuaged by the kindness and warmth that emanated through the doors even on my very first visit. Teachers and administrators alike stooped to address my child on her level; they embraced her, if not physically, certainly emotionally right from the start. They celebrate her idiosyncrasies--every day is princess day--and support her areas of need--she's a very picky eater, but she's tried loads of new foods since enrollment. For these last months, I have been able to put my fears for her aside; I see her growing and learning and LOVING it; she shares her new ideas and facts with me on the way home from school. It's my favorite part of the day, to watch her light up as she tells me about diurnal and nocturnal animals, or how flowers need soil. She is the best and most important thing in the world to me, and this center makes me feel like they really get that.
