Free or low-cost Public Pre-K and Head Start at The Skyrise School®

Early learning programs for families who qualify*

Your family may be able to get free or low-cost early learning at some Skyrise schools. Programs may include Public Pre-K, Universal Pre-K (UPK), Head Start, or Early Head Start.

These programs are paid for by the government. They help your child get ready for kindergarten. They can also make early learning more affordable for your family.

Your child gets all the benefits of a Public Pre-K program while you enjoy care that makes your day easier. The Skyrise School offers care that fits your schedule and gives you the support you need.

Explore Public Pre-K and Head Start programs

The Skyrise School partners with states and local communities to offer free or low-cost early learning programs.* 

Public Pre-K and Universal Pre-K (UPK) 
These preschool programs are paid for by the state and help children get ready for kindergarten. Your child will build early reading, math, speaking, problem-solving, and social skills through fun activities. 

Head Start and Early Head Start 
These early learning programs are paid for by the federal government. They support children and families who qualify from pregnancy through age 5. They may offer help with learning, growth, health, healthy meals, and family needs. 

Skyrise School teacher and student

Care before and after Public Pre-K*

Public Pre-K may cover only part of your child's day or school year. The Skyrise School offers care before and after Public Pre-K hours. We also offer care during school breaks and summer.

Your child can keep learning, playing, and making friends in one familiar place while your family gets a schedule that works for you. 

Some families may also qualify for child care assistance to help pay for care outside Public Pre-K hours or seasonal programs.
